Japanese smartphone manufacturing company Sony recently launched it’s latest Sony Xperia L4. The new Sony Xperia L4 features a triple camera setup and comes along with a waterdrop-style display notch. In addition, Sony Xperia L4 also has Sony’s proprietary multi-window UI (User Interface) that initially came up with the Xperia 1 flagship.
Sony Xperia L4 is the next model of the Xperia L series after the Sony Xperia L3 that Sony launched at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, last year. In comparison to the previous model, the Sony Xperia L4 features a large battery life and change in the design.
The Sony Xperia L4 will be available in 2 colour options – Blue and Black. The phone will go on sale this spring only in selected markets. Although, the company has not revealed the price range of the phone yet.
As per sayings, the Sony Xperia L4 will not be a high valued smartphone. It will be a new entry-level smartphone — the updates version of Sony Xperia L3 that was launched at a price range of EUR 200 (roughly Rs. 15,500) in Europe.
Sony Xperia L4 Specifications
The smartphone runs on the Android 9 Pie version in addition to the Sony’s multi-window UI embedded. The phone features a 6.2-inch HD+ screen size with an aspect ratio of 21:9. The phone also has the octa-core MediaTek MT6762 SoC paired a RAM of 3GB. There is also onboard storage of 64GB which can be expanded up to 512GB via microSD card.
Also as mentioned above, the Sony Xperia L4 comes with a triple rear camera setup that consists a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.0 lens, a megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 lens along with a field-of-view (FoV) of 117 degrees and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor with an f/2.4 lens. In front, the phone features an 8-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 lens with a 78-degree FoV.
In terms of connectivity, the Sony Xperia L4 has 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, USB Type-C, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS and a 3.5mm headphone jack. For security, the phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor. Also, there is a 3,580mAh battery which supports fast charging.
